Visitor Information — Vrindavan Hospital Visitors
Vrindavan Hospital Visitors play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for patient care. To ensure every visit remains smooth and respectful, Vrindavan Hospital Visitors are expected to follow important safety, hygiene, and etiquette guidelines that help protect privacy, reduce disruptions, and support clinical care. Below, you’ll find complete information on visiting hours, rules, and key instructions for all visitors.
Visiting Hours
General ward visiting hours are 10:00 AM–12:00 PM and 5:00 PM–7:00 PM. For ICU and other high-dependency units, only immediate family or authorized caregivers may enter after doctor approval. Visiting times can change if a patient needs urgent care, so check with the ward before you come.
Visiting Rules & Etiquette
To protect patient safety and privacy, Vrindavan Hospital Visitors must follow these simple rules: limit the number of visitors to one or two at a time, keep noise to a minimum, and follow staff instructions within patient care areas. Mobile phones should be set to silent, and photography inside wards is discouraged unless specifically permitted. Outside food is not recommended without prior approval from the treating doctor or dietitian. For the wellbeing of all patients, children, and pets are generally not allowed inside clinical areas. For more detailed global healthcare visiting guidelines, you may also refer to the World Health Organization (WHO):
Visitors must follow the rules.
- Follow hospital hygiene and sanitation guidelines
- Use masks or sanitizers if required
- Respect patient rest hours
- Follow staff instructions inside patient care areas
- Avoid visiting if feeling sick or unwell

ICU & Critical Care Access
ICU access remains strict for good reason. Emergency care teams must work without interruptions, so visiting may be brief and supervised. If the patient’s condition worsens, staff may temporarily suspend visits to prioritize treatment. In such events, the clinical team will update the family as soon as possible.
Essential Care Partner (ECP)
Some patients need continuous support. Therefore, an Essential Care Partner — a trusted person who helps with communication or basic care — may receive extended access after the treating team approves it. If you think a patient needs an ECP, talk to the doctor or nurse in charge.
