Visitor Information — Vrindavan Hospital Visitors

Vrindavan Hospital Visitors play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment for patient care. To ensure every visit remains smooth and respectful, Vrindavan Hospital Visitors are expected to follow important safety, hygiene, and etiquette guidelines that help protect privacy, reduce disruptions, and support clinical care. Below, you’ll find complete information on visiting hours, rules, and key instructions for all visitors.

24×7 Hospital Services & Visiting Policy
Our hospital operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure continuous medical care and emergency services. Patient visits are allowed at any time; however, for ICU and other critical care units, visitor entry is regulated to maintain patient safety and infection control. Entry for attendants or visitors may be permitted based on the patient’s condition and doctor approval. We recommend checking with the nursing station or ward staff before visiting.

GUIDELINES

Visiting Rules & Etiquette

To protect patient safety and privacy, Vrindavan Hospital Visitors must follow these simple rules: limit the number of visitors to one or two at a time, keep noise to a minimum, and follow staff instructions within patient care areas. Mobile phones should be set to silent, and photography inside wards is discouraged unless specifically permitted. Outside food is not recommended without prior approval from the treating doctor or dietitian. For the wellbeing of all patients, children, and pets are generally not allowed inside clinical areas.

For more detailed global healthcare visiting guidelines, you may also refer to the World Health Organization (WHO):

Visitors must follow the rules.

  • Follow hospital hygiene and sanitation guidelines
  • Use masks or sanitizers if required
  • Respect patient rest hours
  • Follow staff instructions inside patient care areas
  • Avoid visiting if feeling sick or unwell

Hospital Timings & Visitor Information

  • Vrindavan Hospital is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergency care, inpatient services, and medical support.
  • Visitor access for patients is managed based on clinical condition, ward guidelines, and safety protocols.
  • ICU and critical care units follow restricted visitation, with entry permitted only to immediate family members after doctor approval.
  • Please note that visiting hours may be revised based on medical needs or safety requirements.

Essential Care Partner (ECP)

ICU & Critical Care Access ICU access remains strict for good reason. Emergency care teams must work without interruptions, so visiting may be brief and supervised. If the patient’s condition worsens, staff may temporarily suspend visits to prioritize treatment. In such events, the clinical team will update the family as soon as possible. Essential Care Partner (ECP) Some patients need continuous support. Therefore, an Essential Care Partner — a trusted person who helps with communication or basic care — may receive extended access after the treating team approves it. If you think a patient needs an ECP, talk to the doctor or nurse in charge.

Before You Visit

ICU visits are limited to immediate family members only and allowed at specific times based on the doctor’s approval.
For the comfort and safety of patients, a maximum of 1–2 visitors are allowed at a time.
